Accountant (SAIPA Registered)

Requirements

·       Matric with relevant financial degree (SAIPA registered)

·       Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Engineering or Building Industry will be an advantage

·       Clear criminal record

·       Fluency in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written)

Key duties and responsibilities

·       Reports to the Financial Director

·       Full Accounting function for two Companies

·       Drafting of financial statements/Cash flow / Management Accounting on Pastel

·       Financial reporting and advice

·       Submission of statutory returns

·       Budget management

·       VAT management

·       Preparation of all documents for external auditors

·       Risk analysis

·       Manage all compliance documents

·       Assist with tenders

·       BEE management

·       Supervise 3 staff members – 2 x Finance clerks and 1 x Receptionist

In return this position will offer a Monthly Cost to Company Salary (neg.) and an Annual Bonus.
