This Leading Importer and Distributor of Cleaning Equipment are looking to grow their sales team. They are looking to employ a Sales Specialist to join their dynamic team.

This position will have two key focus areas - to work an existing client data base and cross sell the product range to maximise the clients spend.  In addition, to hunt for new business to grow the client base with new customers. 

Only individuals who meet with the below minimum requirements of this position will be considered for further assessment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric or Equivalent qualification
  • BCom Degree or relevant Sales, Marketing or Commercial Degree preferential
  • Minimum 3 years sales exposure to the Food Manufacturing and Hygiene Industry
  • Fully Computer Literate (Advanced Excel, Word, Email and PowerPoint Skills)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Professional written and verbal communicator
  • Must be willing to travel within South Africa
  • Excellent internet connectivity for weekly Zoom meetings and training
  • Home office setup must be conducive to working from home
  • Valid driver’s licence & Own Good and Reliable Transport

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Work an existing client database and maximise the customers spend by cross-selling
  • Working according to monthly/quarterly and annual targets per product set
  • Increase the client base by hunting for new customers.
  • Manage all negotiations and presentations according the company defined sales process
  • Report weekly on sales activities, sales forecast, and the sales pipeline
  • Manage all internal administrative processes and update the in-house sales SAP Business One system
  • Capture activities and sales related data on the inhouse SAP Business One system accurately and timeously
  • Work according to monthly meetings targets
  • Attend regular training sessions to increase industry knowledge
  • Work with internal marketing team to come up with various campaigns to maximise client spend
  • Be a self-starter and be disciplined to work from home
  • Be a highly competent problem solver
  • Can interrogate data to facilitate territory planning strategy
  • Be open to continual learning
  • Passion for self-development
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager

  • Total Cost to Company Package = Basic + Car Allowance (Negotiable depending relevant experience, sales track record and qualifications)
