The role of the IT Front-line Support Engineer will be to ensure a Central point of contact between the users within the station and IT at this leading Global Logistics & Transportation Service provider’s offices in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements

  • A+ and N+ Certified
  • Windows 8, Windows 10 extensive knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365
  • Must have at least 1 – 2 years working experience within a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changed environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues
  • Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected
  • Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management
  • Extensive Hardware knowledge including: Desktops, laptops, printers and networking equipment
  • Hardware installations and set up
  • Basic networking skills
  • Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license to ensure external support


Key Responsibilities

  • Frontline support to all branches from the helpdesk system or telephonically
  • Hardware and Software installations and support
  • Helpdesk system queries, quick and effective resolution of the queries
  • Install in-house software at customers
  • Adhere to all related policies and documented procedures
  • Report directly into the IT Manager

Remuneration Package Offered:

  • R11 000 Cost to Company per month
  • Fuel Allowance
  • Company Provident Fund Contribution (Compulsory)
