Employment Equity - This leading Global Logistics & Transportation Service Provider is looking to appoint a Human Resources Officer at their Cape Town Office that will support the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in all day to day Human Resources functions

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification and/or experience
  • Excellent knowledge of local labour laws – LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHSA.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Junior HR officer / generalist position
  • At least 2 years’ experience on Accsys System (specifically capturing of overtime)
  • Proven track record for the effective finalization of IOD claims
  • Advanced Excel
  • Valid Code 08 drivers licence and own reliable transport essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and efficient preparation of all HR related documentation
  • Manage and maintain the SuccessFactors system on a monthly basis
  • Facilitation and completion of IOD claims
  • Completion of all necessary DoL requirements
  • Monitoring of probation periods and fixed term contracts
  • Accurate completion of monthly overtime and submission to payroll
  • Accurate completion of national NBCRFLI D-forms by monthly deadline
  • General administration and managing filing system
  • Recruitment i.e. advertising, sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, drafting of LOA’s
  • Monthly HR reporting
  • Manage and administer disciplinary database
  • Assisting regional HRBP with ad hoc duties

Remuneration Package Offered:

  • R15 000 Cost to Company Package per month
