This Market Leading Brand specialises in the development, production and marketing of high quality stainless steel drainage solutions for clients within the housing, commercial, industrial and marine sector.

Our client a Cleaning & Hygiene Product Distribution Leader are in the process of expanding their footprint & activities in South Africa. This dynamic Company requires a Sales Representative to build up and develop a market for this quality Drainage Systems & Solutions product range.

Only individuals who meet with the below minimum requirements of this position will be considered for further assessment.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Craftsman, Engineering or a Commercial background with a technical flair is essential
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience within the food, pharmaceutical, sanitary or building industry
  • Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans/English) Written & Verbal
  • Strong client orientation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to be cooperative and work independently
  • Target driven, go getter and passionate
  • Ability to identify the correct target markets
  • Able to negotiate at all levels
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the  Southern Africa Business Sectors and Geographical territories; must be willing to travel within South Africa
  • Valid driver’s licence & Own Reliable Transport

Key Performance Areas:

  • Build and develop the market for the Brand within South Africa
  • Drive new business development strategies through an effective and innovative approach
  • Establish a dedicated distributor network within the industrial, commercial and domestic segments
  • Target sales activities towards architects, engineers, owners, operators, distributors, wholesalers, contractors and installers using the push/ pull strategy
  • Coordinate and conduct sales projects
  • Work towards company set targets
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager

  • Total Cost To Company Package – Basic + Car Allowance  (Negotiable depending relevant experience, sales track record and qualifications)
