Customer Relationship Manager Vacancy. This Leading Global Logistics and Transportation Service Provider is looking to appoint a Customer Relationship Manager at their Bloemfontein Branch.

Maintaining and developing the relationship with customers through being the one-stop-shop contact point whilst upselling to the existing clients base; ensuring profitable business growth and revenue trade.

Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Sales/Logistics Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 Year Corporate client retention management experience (preferably within the logistics/courier/distribution industry)
  • Previous work history in key account management of reputable corporates
  • Proven track record of achievement of client portfolio targets
  • Industry experience advantageous – Understanding of full supply chain (Freight, International, National Express & Warehousing products)
  • Experience in presentation & negotiation of business solutions at senior management level
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Scheduling of business appointments within client base
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel (FD’s, MD’s, CEO’s etc.) in assigned customer accounts
  • Achieve Individual targets
  • Maintain existing business through strong retention strategies and assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Identify & grow client base and revenue through selling of additional logistics products
  • Establish customer needs, developing opportunities and grow customer base
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Update weekly call report and CRM System daily
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients
  • Effectively and efficiently deal with client queries
  • Identify and escalate possible threats to existing business
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume & strategic objectives in assigned accounts

Remuneration Package will entail:

  • CTC Salary that will include a Basic Salary & Car Allowance (neg. based on experience and proven track record)
