An opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Stock Control Supervisor to join this well-known National Outdoor Furniture & Lifestyle Products Retailer in Epping Industria.

This position will ensure maintenance of stock levels, maintaining an accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior Secondary Qualification (Gr12, Matric, NQF4)
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Warehouse/Logistics/Supply Chain (Advantageous)
  • 3 – 5 years’ supervisory experience within Stock Control & Inventory Management in a Warehouse environment
  • Fully Computer Literate (MS Office)
  • Previous experience in working with Warehouse Management Systems will be advantageous (Preferably Isopos)
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence & Own Vehicle (Preferable)
  • Core Working Hours – (Mon to Friday from 07h00 – 17h00) Flexibility to work Afterhours/Weekends/Public Holidays during In-Season, if and when required

Key Performance Areas will entail but not be limited to:

  • Ensure that all orders/returns are timeously delivered within required timeframes
  • Stock Management – ensure an accurate record of stock balances to determine stock supply
  • Inventory Management – ensure detailed database of in/outbound and current inventory
  • Ensure collection of all data is captured in system to track inventory of stock and improving quality control
  • Manage all purchasing and replenishment of goods to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Customer Services – manage client expectations (internal/external) in line with all collection and delivery procedures
  • Supervise collection/delivery & returns process through detailed inspection of stock in line with quality control procedures
  • Supervise deployment of fleet resources in line with Collection & Delivery process
  • Supervise receiving of stock into warehouse to ensure quality bin location management
  • Supervise daily/weekly stock counts to eliminate incorrect stock balances and reconciliation of stock
  • Report Management of all  unsaleable/damaged stock
  • Administration Management  - reconcile delivery notes with purchase orders
  • Submit daily & weekly reports pertaining to all Queries, Collections, POD’s
  • Analysing of pricing structures, propose adjustments in order to benefit from current pricing
  • Supervise maintenance of Warehouse as well as manage adherence to all Health, Safety & Security procedures
  • Ensure that all operational requirements are adhered to including tracking of inventory, rates of return, rates of purchase and rates of accuracy to maintain and improve quality control
  • Report directly into Warehouse & Assistant Warehouse Manager

Remuneration Offered:

  • Monthly Cost to Company of R10 – R12 000 per month (depending proven track record, experience and qualifications)
