A Permanent Employment opportunity has become available for an experienced Office Manager that will also serve as a PA to the Director as this dynamic Energy Solutions Company that is based in Montague Gardens.

Minimum requirements for consideration:

  • Senior Secondary Qualification and Relevant Qualification/Degree (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an Office Manager/PA to senior- level management
  • Previous project coordinating experience
  • Previous Office Management/PA or project coordination experience within the Energy Sector will be advantageous
  • Must have experience in Pastel for all quoting & invoicing administration processes
  • Must be fully computer literate (advanced level in Excel) 
  • Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
  • Must have own reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence
  • Be flexible and able to work afterhours or overtime if & when required
  • Working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist in mediating with role-players (clients, suppliers, contractors & sales) to ensure smooth roll-out/logistics of projects
  • Organising and preparing proposal documents and presentations for the director and sales team
  • Managing Health & Safety administration of projects
  • Organising of meetings and time/diary management of director, as well as coordinating and booking travel arrangements
  • Managing written / telephonic correspondence on pending matters and responding to urgent requests by staff, clients, suppliers, etc.
  • General administration (quoting, invoicing, customer liaison) and office upkeep
  • Financial support to the finance manager, as well as customer & sales support
  • Providing support to the HR manager with HR-related admin / documentation
  • Perform additional adhoc and personal tasks for the Director and his wife such as buying office supplies, walking their 2 dogs that are at the office every day, assisting with personal errands, etc.
