This Leading Global Logistics and Transportation Service Provider is looking to appoint a Client Relationship Manager.

To maintain and develop the relationships with customers through being the one-stop-shop contact point and upselling to the existing clients based, ensuring profitable business growth will be the main focus area of this role.

Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualification and/or experience
  • Minimum of 3 Year Corporate client retention management experience (preferably within the logistics/courier/distribution industry)
  • Proven track record of achievement of client portfolio targets
  • Industry experience advantageous – Understanding of full supply chain (Freight, International
  • & Warehousing products)
  • Experience in presentation and negotiation of business solutions at senior management level
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Preferably reside within Boland Region (Stellenbosch/Paarl/Somerset West) due to coverage and travelling expectations

Key Responsibilities will include –



  • Scheduling of business appointments with client base/book (At least five appointments per day)
  • Achieve individual targets
  • Maintain existing business
  • Identify & grow client base and revenue through selling of additional logistics products
  • Selling of the full supply chain products
  • Establish customer needs, developing opportunities and grow customer base
  • Update weekly call report and REACH daily
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients
  • Effectively and efficiently deal with client queries
  • Identify and escalate possible threats to existing business


Remuneration Package will entail –
